We are all travellers.
"Ha tudatában vagyunk az elmúlásnak, ugyanakkor számításba tudjuk venni az emberi létben rejlő hatalmas lehetőségeket, sürgető érzés tölt el bennünket." - Buddha
Bardo is a tibetan word for a transmition from somewhere to somewhere. From one state of mind to another. We are constantly travelling from one moment to another from no begining to no ends. This is also called the samsara.
Our lives are constantly changing, nothing for a second stays the same, as a waterfall. Although has a name for thousand years, but none out of a billion molecule stays there for more than a second or two. Our journey is vast, and endless. And many believe that our trip doesn't end with death. Something goes on without the body into the realms of death to seek a new life, or to fulfill the enlightenment. Tibetans call this journey as travelling through Bardo. There are different types of Bardo, each defines a state of mind.
Bardo Thödol is a photographic essay about
Lama Ngawang Rinpoche, a Tibetan Lama's funeral in Stockholm in 2011. Four of us from Hungary flew there to give our last respect to Lama with many others.
